How to use RS232 to CAN converter  


RS232 to CAN converter is an industrial gateway device, which can realize the mutual conversion between CAN bus data and 232 data, so that devices that originally only integrated with 232 interface can also be connected to the CAN bus for use, improving the work of the device efficiency 


At least one CAN bus interface and one 232 interface are integrated, and there is a special power interface, which can be powered by an external power supply of 9-24V. When using the RS232 to CAN converter, we should pay attention to several issues:


1. What is the conversion direction of the data, is it only from the CAN side to the serial port, or only from the serial port to the CAN side, or both sides are turned together.


2. Should the filter be set before the device is used. If the data is transferred from the 232 end to the CAN end, it is not necessary, if not, it must be, otherwise the frame may be lost.


3. What is the form of data conversion, whether it is transparent transmission, transparent band logo, or format conversion.
