What is a Battery Module?

The panel module is an important component of solar cells (groups) and the most valuable part of solar power generation systems. Its function is to convert solar energy into electrical energy, or send it to a battery for storage, or drive the load to work. It is an indivisible minimum solar cell combination device with packaging and internal connections, which can provide direct current output separately.

Each individual solar cell has very low power, so the modules are connected together in the form of battery strings.

Solar cell modules rarely operate under normal operating conditions, as solar radiation and temperature are constantly changing. The rated output power of solar cell modules is measured according to standard test conditions (STC), but these conditions rarely meet the actual usage conditions. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the battery module.

Which module monitors battery temperature?

BMS (Battery Monitoring System) monitors the voltage, current, and temperature of a rechargeable battery system, whether it is a single battery, module (set of batteries), or battery pack (set of modules).

Premier Cable provides BMS solar monitoring console cable with different interfaces to meet the requirements of RS232 and RS485 serial. Welcome to leave a message to learn more.

The role of DeviceNet terminal resistor

DeviceNet_network is a fieldbus network protocol based on Controller Area Network (CAN). In the DeviceNet network, the terminal resistor plays the role of compensation and protection for signal transmission. The function of the terminal resistor is to eliminate signal reflection and interference and ensure the signal transmission quality.
