The three different sizes of NMEA 2000 certified DeviceNet standard cabling are "micro," "mid," and "mini."

Micro – The smallest size of cabling used for NMEA 2000 networks. Can be used to form the backbone of small installations as well as instrument supports.

Mid – Medium size cabling that can only be used to install NMEA 2000 backbones. More suitable for large NMEA 2000 installations.

Mini – The largest size of wiring. Likewise, it can only be used to install an NMEA 2000 backbone. Popular solution for large NMEA 2000 installations.
