The M12 power L-code connector is an extension of the current M12 IEC standard, which has been chosen by PROFIBUS and PROFINET International as the standard for 24-volt power systems used in PROFINET equipment. M12 L-code cable assemblies are an extension of Premier Cable's M12 product portfolio and can handle up to 16A per pin (the highest current in Premier Cable's M12 series), delivering four times the power of standard M12 connectors while providing reliable, Efficient power supply. M12 power L-coded connectors take up up to 40% less space and provide nearly 80% more power than 7/8” connectors traditionally used for high-power connections. M12 power cable assemblies are available in male and female connectors , suitable for a variety of uses, with conductor sizes from 1.5 mm² to 2.5 mm², allowing the construction of more compact high-power solutions for automation equipment.

 

 

Premier Cable's new M12 power L-code connectors are IP67 rated, dust-proof and can withstand temporary submersion in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.
