"The Radio Dots system includes a base station, which is a cellular antenna that receives the operator's signal and transmits the signal to the interconnected Radio Dots through network cables. The Radio Dots support Power over Ethernet, so no independent power supply is required; each Radio Dots weigh only 0.7 pounds." Isn't this equivalent to an indoor distribution system? This thing is very simple. It just changes the part of the existing indoor distribution system that is connected to the transmission network into an antenna connection, and then can accept unlimited signals from different operators. The other parts are not much different from microdistribution. At best, the traditional feeder connected to the indoor antenna is changed into a network cable, and the antenna becomes an AP that supports voice signals. This system concept is very good, but it is estimated that ZTE and Huawei will launch similar products before long. Personally, I think the technical implementation of this thing is very simple. But its bottleneck is also obvious, that is, it relies on the signal covered by the operator to connect to its own wireless base station. Its own bandwidth is limited by the bandwidth of the operator's wireless signal. So much so that it may not be able to cover the area covered by Radio Dot.
