Nokia launches ultra-high-performance AirScale baseband to bring the power of artificial intelligence to mobile networks

Nokia has announced the global launch of new products to further enhance its industry-leading AirScale baseband portfolio, which combines ultra-high performance and capacity with extreme energy efficiency. The solution includes two next-generation 5G-Advanced baseband capacity cards named Levante and Lodos. Ponente, a new high-performance baseband control card with unprecedented throughput, was also announced. The new products feature the latest generation of Nokia's ReefShark system-on-chip (SoC) technology, which enables industry-leading baseband cellular capacity, connectivity and processing capabilities.
