This adapter cable fits the J1939 deutsch 9-pin connector found in most trucks, buses and tractors - and lets you easily connect e.g. a CANedge to record 2 x J1939 data.
For heavy-duty vehicles that provide access to 2 x J1939 via the deutsch 9-pin connector, this cable may provide you with a richer dataset vs. our normal J1939 adapter cable.
We offer two variants of the cable: Our 'J1939-DB9/DB9 (H+J)' and 'J1939-DB9/DB9 (F+G)', depending on which of pins in the deutsch 9-pin connector provide access to the second network.
This adapter cable is useful in heavy-duty vehicles， trucks, buses, tractors, ... that provide access to multiple J1939 networks through a single deutsch 9-pin connector.
Specifically, the cable lets you connect a CAN bus data logger like the CANedge directly to the deutsch connector to both log the primary J1939 network , as well as a secondary J1939 network
