Not sure if your ECU supports CAN over OBD-II ?
If your ECU is 2008+ you are good to go. A few 2006/2007 vehicles provided early support for CAN bus.

This cable allows you connect your CL1 data box to the OBDII port on your 2008- or later model vehicle.
One end features an M8 connector while the other end has a standard OBDII connector to allow easy connection for power and vital vehicle information.
Note: When using the OBDII connection with the Vantage CL1, it is recommended that the batteries be removed from the CL1 data box, as damage may occur to the unit.
