Introducing a new interposer for FTDI USB

FTDI's new USB-to-serial chip: FT232RL. Earlier models of FT232: FT232BM, the new chip of FTDI USB FT232BL can easily convert USB signals into RS-232, RS422, RS485 signals/RS-232, RS422, RS485 signals into USB signals. FTDI USB interface conversion chip FT232R realizes the conversion from USB to serial UART interface, and can also be converted to synchronous and asynchronous BIT-BANG interface mode. Provide FTDI USB drivers under various operating systems, it will be easier to design and use this chip.

FTDI USB components

1: FTDI USB chip integrates EEPROM, which can be used for IO configuration and storage of USB VID, PID, serial number and product description information.

2: The FTDI USB chip integrates a level converter, so that its I/O port level supports a wide range of 5V-2.8V.

3: The I/O pins of FTDI USB have strong driving ability and can drive multiple devices or long data lines.

4: The power-on reset circuit is integrated in the FTDI USB chip.

5: The FTDI USB chip can generate the clock by itself, without the need for an external crystal oscillator.

6: FTDI USB integrates a power supply decoupling RC circuit.

7: FTDI USB This chip complies with ROHS standard.

8: FTDI USB This chip supports QFN32PIN package: FT232RQ and SSOP28PIN package: FT232RL.

Through the above introduction and analysis of FTDI USB, hope it helps you.
