DeviceXPlorer Data Logger : Introduction of Purpose and Function

DxpLOGGER is data logging software corresponding to OPC for equipment data collection and abnormality monitoring.

Supports logging for various databases, alert monitoring, real-time/historical trends, and various write methods.

It can be widely used in production management, power monitoring, alarm monitoring and traceability systems.

Access all facility data

DxpLOGGER uses OPC (industry standard) as the communication system, which enables the construction of highly flexible systems.

Combined with DeviceXPlorer OPC Server, it can access device data in various production sites.

Supports various logging systems

Periodic logging and event logging via PLC triggering are supported.

Quickly collect rapidly changing data without losing it as quickly as possible in 50-millisecond intervals.

Log data can be saved not only to CSV files, but also to various databases of Microsoft SQL Server, Access, MySQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL through ODBC drivers.

Flexible Alarm Monitoring

DxpLOGGER can monitor facility and equipment alarm conditions. Alerts will occur for label/number condition comparisons, comparisons between labels, and combinations of two conditions (AND/OR).

By searching the calendar for the specified data, the transition of the collected data can be checked in time series.

All data within a specified time period can be displayed simultaneously. Necessary data can also be extracted by applying filter conditions to the displayed data.

Trend

A historical trending feature is installed so that the collected data can be displayed graphically in chronological order.

State transitions of previous equipment can be checked graphically by selecting data, specifying colors, displaying values using markers, calculating average, minimum and maximum values, expanding the display range and searching for values.

The currently collected data can be monitored in real-time trends. It can also display multiple graphs side by side.

Execute user programs and write procedures

Standard functions can be developed which are not provided as user programs but execute specified conditions such as time and trigger signals.

It also supports the writing process of heartbeat signal and date and time within a certain period, FTP file operation, and mass writing of recipes.
