What is the difference between RJ9, RJ10, RJ11, RJ12, RJ45, RJ48 and RJ50 ?

RJ9 is a four-core wire, which can be used as a connecting wire for a handset and a phone;

RJ11 is a two-core wire, which can be used as a telephone line, that is, the line connecting the phone to the telecommunication bureau;

RJ45 is an eight-core cable that can be used as a network cable.

A connector is used in the phone to connect the phone and the handset, called 4P4C RJ9, RJ10, with 4 pins

This connector is also used in Apple's Macintosh for connecting consoles and keyboards, as well as DirecTV set-top boxes.

RJ11 is the US standard telephone connector, while the UK is BS 6312, France is F-010, Germany is TAE connector, basically similar, while Austria is TDO-connector, Poland is WT-4, the difference is very big.

One of the more commonly used RJ connectors at present is RJ45, which is used for ethernet connection, 8P8C, which can connect 4 pairs of twisted pairs, 12mm wide, which is wider than the RJ11 series. RJ45 is also sometimes used for telephone or RS232 connections, and it is also used to transmit VGA video signals.
