5G Antennas - Since many applications developed using 5G technology are based on different frequency ranges considered for 5G mobile communications. Therefore, it requires different 5G antennas to support different frequency bands. 5G will use Advanced Antenna System (AAS) – a hybrid of an AAS radio and a set of AAS features. AAS includes multiple antenna technologies, namely beamforming and MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output). All frequency bands in 5G require antenna systems to support them as the network develops.

UK regulator OFCOM has designated "3.25 GHZ" spectrum in the 26 GHz band (24.25 GHz – 27.5 GHz) as a herald band for a new era of wireless networks, known as 5G in Europe.
