NMEA 2000 T-type tap Micro or Mini T-type adapter

NMEA 2000 CAN Bus network 3-Port T-Connector

NMEA 2000 T-type tap Micro or Mini T-type adapter (tap) is mainly used for adding and connecting electronic equipment in the NMEA 2000 communication network. It is suitable for two-way connection of communication and control between main lines and branch lines. , is one of the most critical connectors in the field communication and control network of ships or yachts.

NMEA 2000 Terminating Resistor NMEA 2000 M12 or 7/8 inch connector terminating resistor, usually a 120 ohm resistor is integrally molded inside the connector and installed or applied to the end of the NMEA 2000 keel main wire. Used to absorb reflected waves on the network, effectively enhancing signal strength. Because the signal suddenly encounters little or even no cable impedance at the end of the transmission line, that is, the impedance is discontinuous, the signal will cause reflection at this place.

NMEA 2000 (board-end) panel-type board-end connectors are divided into single-head panel type and double-head wall-through type. They are usually soldered or PCB Pin-type connecting conductors. They are mainly installed and used in NMEA 2000 master-slave. On the casing of the equipment (and removable equipment), it is plugged into the corresponding wire end connector and used as a communication input and output port on the electronic equipment side.

Premier Cable designs and manufactures cable assembly connectors, open standard cables, cable assemblies, connectors, terminals and power products that support the NMEA 2000 system.

The role of DeviceNet terminal resistor

DeviceNet_network is a fieldbus network protocol based on Controller Area Network (CAN). In the DeviceNet network, the terminal resistor plays the role of compensation and protection for signal transmission. The function of the terminal resistor is to eliminate signal reflection and interference and ensure the signal transmission quality.
