What is the difference between RS232 USB and RS485 USB?
The main differences between RS-232 and RS-485 are:
Communication mode: RS-232 is usually point-to-point communication, suitable for short-distance transmission (generally no more than 15 meters), while RS-485 supports multi-point communication, can connect multiple devices, and is suitable for long-distance transmission (up to 1200 meters).

Signal transmission: RS-232 uses single-ended signals and is easily affected by noise, while RS-485 uses differential signals, which has strong anti-interference ability and is suitable for harsh environments.
Number of connections: RS-232 can generally only connect one device, while RS-485 can connect up to 32 devices on the same bus.
Application scenarios: RS-232 is mostly used to connect computers to external devices, such as modems; RS-485 is widely used in industrial automation and remote monitoring systems.
